1.     FCCLA and Leadership will be hosting a food drive.  Please drop off canned foods in the buckets in rooms 201 and 107.  (Faker 11/2-11/20)

2.     Students, Are you interested in attending the Naval Academy at Annapolis??  We will have a special guest from the Naval Academy in the Career Center on Monday, November 23rd from 1-2:30 to answer all your questions.  See Mrs. Taveira in the College and Career Center to sign up to attend.  (Taveira 11/9-11/23)

3.     SSHS Cafeteria is featuring a couple of new sandwiches that are going to get your taste buds ready for Fall.  First up:  The Southern style Chicken Salad Sandwich with diced celery and grapes.  Also, the Turkey Ba-BOOM sandwich:  Sliced turkey with a spicy mayo sauce and pepper jack cheese.  Fuel up with lunch!  (Kitchen 11/9-11/20)

4.     TMCC is offering Community Education Winter Break Camps for teens.  Fliers are in the front office as well as the counseling office.  (Alejos 11/12-11/30)

5.     Do you have a library fine?  The library is now accepting canned food in lieu of money to pay off your library fines.  Each can you donate will equal one dollar.  This is a great opportunity to help families in need!  (Lopez 11/12-11/30)

6.     The Asian Culture Club will meet this week on Thursday, November 19th at lunch in room 253.  (Kwasna 11/16-11/18)

7.       Seniors interested in going to Truckee Meadows Community College – A representative, Jennifer Zarco, will be on campus Friday, November 20th from 9:00 am-12:00 pm in the Career and Counseling Center.  Please see Jennifer if you have questions about the TMCC application process.  (Hamilton 11/17-11/20)

8.     Attention all girls interested in trying out for softball this year – there will be a mandatory informational meeting in the foyer during lunch today, Wednesday, Nov. 18th.  (Picollo 11/17-11/18)

9.     Come show your support at the Charity Volleyball Event against our rival, the Reed Raiders, next Tuesday, Nov. 24th.  We are raising money for the Evelyn Mount Community Outreach so your attendance is appreciated.  (Faker 11/17-11/24)

10.                          Are you interested in becoming a Nursing Professional?  UNR will hold an informational session tonight from 5:30-6:30 at the Joe Crowley Student Union.  Stop by and get your questions answered.  (Taveira 11/18)
