v Girls Basketball will have an open gym on Monday’s & Wednesday’s from 5 to 7 PM in the big gym.  This is for anyone who is NOT participating in a spring sport.  (Coach Cardenas 4/10-6/9)

v Cougars!!  Are you interested in learning the skills necessary for life after high school?  If so, Reed High School is hosting the “It’s a Jungle Out There!” leadership conference on April 29th from 8:30-3:30.  Please see Mr. Merill or Mrs. Sindar-House in Room 140 for more information.  (JAG 4/11-4/28)

v Seniors!  UNR will be in the Career Center on Thursday April 20th starting at 11:30 AM.  Stop by if you have any questions.  (Taveria 4/17-4/20)

v Cougars!  Are you looking for a flexible part-time position that pays well?  ORC International is hosting an open house on Monday April 24th from 2-6 PM.  See Mr. Merill & Mrs. S in Room 140 for more information.  (JAG 4/19-4/24)

v Come try our delicious breakfast & lunch items from the Washoe Noshery Food Truck next week!  The truck will accept free/reduced, cash or MySchoolBucks.  Prices are $1.75 for breakfast & $2.85 for lunch & $2.25 for a lunch entrĂ©e.  Many a la carte items will be available for sale.  Breakfast will be French toast or a maple bacon whole-grain donut.  Lunch will be burgers!  Choose from a hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger or veggie burger.  (Hobbs 4/19-4/28)

v Students!  EOC testing starts next week, April 24th & they are all on-line.  You will get an invite the previous day.  It is important that you not be absent & that you report to your assigned testing room promptly.  Due to the tight testing window, make-up time is very limited.  Locations & dates are now posted in the main hallway.  Make sure you stop by & check your date & the location you will be testing at.

The testing schedule is as follows:

Week 1-ELA 1 Reading

Week 2-ELA 2 Writing

Week 3- Science Biology

Week 4- Math 1 Algebra

Week 5- Math 2 Geometry

Grade 10 Science will run April 24- May 5

Students may practice on the computers for the on-line tests by going to the Library & Career Center, or log on at home to  Remember, NO cell phones or electronic devices are allowed in the testing rooms.  (Marin 4/18-4/21)
