v Girls Basketball will have an open gym on Monday’s & Wednesday’s from 5 to 7 PM in the big gym.  This is for anyone who is NOT participating in a spring sport.  (Coach Cardenas 4/10-6/9)

v Seniors!!  Jostens will be here on Monday, May 22nd, for Cap & Gown deliveries.  (Jostens 5/1-5/22)

v Due to AP testing, lunch detention will be held in the theater for the next 2 weeks.  (Cohen 5/1-5/12)

v Cougars! On May 13th, Spanish Springs JAG & the Army National Guard will be hosting a masquerade.  Tickets are $5.00 & you must sign up before the event, so please see Mr. Merrill or Mrs. Sindar-House in Room 140 before May 12th.  (JAG 5/2-5/12)

v  Attention Athletes!  Parents can begin sports registration for 2017-18 by going to Register My Athlete at RegisterMyAthlete.com.  There no longer is an Athletic Clearance Packet.  Clearance is now done through RMA.  After they have completed the online sports registration with Register My Athlete, the athletic department at SSHS will need a completed Physical (if applicable), NIAA Health Questionnaire (1st/3rd year) or NIAA Pre-Participation History (2nd/4th year), the Travel Waiver of Liability form, which can be found in the main office or online.  Also, the $75.00 yearly sports fee will need to be paid through the school bookkeeper (cash/check) or the Web Store after July 1st. v Come out this Thursday & get a new type of school breakfast & lunch from the Washoe Noshery Food Truck!  Breakfast will be breakfast tacos or a honey siracha whole-grain donut.  Lunch will be “NOSHos!”  Choose from nacho, cool ranch or spicy sweet chili Doritos-topped nachos.  The Noshery will accept free/reduced, cash or MySchoolBucks.  (Hobbs 5/8-5/9)

v Want to be in a short film?  Well lucky for you, this week you can audition to be in a horror movie or be behind the scenes doing tech & makeup!  If you are interested, go to Room 210. (Wallace 5/8-5/10)

v FCCLA meeting today at lunch in Room 107.  (Gach 5/9)

v There will be a National Honor Society meeting today at lunch in Room 218.  (Kelley 5/9)
